HannahJane is not your textbook grandma. As the founder always told her kids, she was the coolest mom in the hood—and now, she stands proudly as the coolest grandma in the hood.
The name HannahJane holds deep creative history. It was given by the creator’s maternal grandmother to one of her favorite life-sized dolls. Growing up, the creator was captivated by this collection, featuring rare, beautiful, life-sized Black dolls at a time when they were nearly impossible to find.
With the creator growing up in the fast-paced city and her maternal grandmother rooted in the South, the unique name HannahJane stuck out tremendously. It became a legacy never forgotten—now forming the permanent foundation for her creative side and a beautiful way to pay lifelong homage.
